Nancy West

Nancy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over thirty years experience of providing social services to the Rockford community. She has a strong background in working with children and families of all cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds who have struggled to move beyond hardships and trauma. She provides a safe, supportive and respectful environment to identify and navigate through the barriers that impact one’s ability to live their best life. She strongly believes in the mind-body connection and utilizes a holistic approach to assist her clients in gaining a better understanding of themselves and their relationships with others. She believes that the therapeutic relationship is the key to healing and is committed to and invested in her clients.

She specializes in the clinical treatment of a variety of issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, grief, PTSD, relationship issues and trauma related disorders. Nancy is a Certified Clinical Telemental Health Provider (CTMH) and provides services via telehealth. She is also a Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CATP), Grief Counseling Specialist (GCS) and a Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider (MHIMP).
