Selena is a Licensed Social Worker who brings over 6 years of experience working in the mental health field. Her professional background includes working in crisis services, child welfare, and school-based mental health services. Selena has extensive experience working with children and adolescents ages 5-18 and enjoys supporting clients and families through a variety of emotional, behavioral, and life challenges.
Selena has experience working with concerns including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, trauma and trauma-related disorders, oppositional defiant disorder, emotional dysregulation, behavioral concerns, self-esteem challenges, school-related difficulties, family conflict, and coping skill development. She is passionate about understanding each child within the context of their family system and believes that collaboration with caregivers is an important part of creating lasting growth and positive change.
Selena utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), person-centered therapy, trauma-informed care, play therapy techniques, and solution-focused therapy. She tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each client and incorporates creative and engaging interventions such as art, movement, mindfulness, social-emotional learning (SEL), and parent coaching into sessions.

When Selena is not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, crafting, going on runs, and relaxing while watching her favorite TV shows.
