Izamar Cortez, LSW, is a Licensed Social Worker at Willow Creek Counseling, providing individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. She offers client-centered, trauma-informed care and supports clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Izamar strives to create a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.

Izamar is bilingual in English and Spanish and is deeply committed to providing culturally responsive care. She respects and honors each client’s cultural background, beliefs, and lived experiences, and integrates cultural awareness into all aspects of her work. She brings experience in sexual assault advocacy and therapy, medical social work, school-based counseling, and family case management, allowing her to approach care through a holistic and strengths-based lens.

When not in the office, Izamar enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as crafting and reading.
